Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the services of DBF Florence-Graham Deck Builder, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

Services Provided

We provide professional deck building services including design, installation, repair, and restoration. All work is performed by licensed and insured contractors. Service details, timelines, and costs will be provided in writing through a formal contract or estimate before any work begins.

Estimates and Quotes

All estimates and quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Prices may change after this period due to material costs or project scope changes. We reserve the right to adjust pricing if unforeseen conditions are discovered during the project.

Payment Terms

Payment terms will be outlined in your service contract. Typically, we require a deposit before work begins, with the balance due upon completion. We accept various payment methods including check, credit card, and electronic transfer. Late payments may incur additional fees.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule your service, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less notice may result in forfeiture of deposit. Once materials have been ordered or work has begun, deposits are non-refundable.

Warranties and Guarantees

We stand behind our work with a warranty on labor and workmanship. Specific warranty terms will be provided in your service contract. Material warranties are provided by the manufacturer and are separate from our labor warranty.

Property Access and Site Conditions

You agree to provide clear access to the work area and ensure that the site is safe for our team to perform the work. You are responsible for removing any valuable items or obstacles from the work area. We are not responsible for damage to underground utilities that are not properly marked.

Permits and Regulations

When required, we will obtain necessary permits for your project. You are responsible for ensuring that any homeowner association or local regulations are communicated to us before work begins. Additional fees may apply for permit applications.

Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided. We are not responsible for consequential damages, indirect damages, or damages resulting from acts of nature, negligence by third parties, or improper maintenance after completion.

Changes to Services

Any changes to the agreed-upon scope of work must be requested in writing and approved by both parties. Changes may result in additional costs and timeline adjustments.

Dispute Resolution

If any disputes arise regarding our services, we encourage you to contact us directly to resolve the matter. If we cannot reach a resolution, disputes will be handled in accordance with California state law.
